STERLING, Va. and LONDON, Aug. 14, 2007— The Investigative and Litigation Support Services segment of First Advantage Corporation (NASDAQ: FADV) today announced that Robert Brown, technical expert in the segment’s London office, has accepted an invitation to give a presentation on computer forensic analysis and protocols during the Forensic Analysis session of the Electronic Evidence and E-Discovery Forum at the Victoria Park Plaza in London on Sept. 19-20, 2007.
Brown has worked as an IT professional for the past 15 years and has specialized in computer forensics since 2001. He has regularly been called by the High Court to act as Independent Computer Expert, and he has testified as an expert witness at Crown Court on behalf of both the prosecution and the defense on numerous occasions.
Brown has also provided training for police service personnel and corporate sector professionals in the handling and investigation of digital evidence. This training has focused on the acquisition and examination of material associated with criminal search warrants, civil search and seize orders, corporate investigations and civil litigation. September’s talk will focus on techniques utilized in civil rather than criminal proceedings.
